The OUS-8EP-2G is a 10/100Mbps unmanaged POE switch with 2G 10/100/1000Mbps uplink ports specially tuned for surveillance solutions, which provides four DATA+POE ports and two-gigabit data ports for up-link.

Ports 1-8 follow the 802.3af/at standard and support maximum power output of 30w from each port. The POE ports of the switch can automatically detect and supply power to the PD devices that comply with the 802.3af/at standard. In addition, the switch supports auto-negotiating traffic control functions and is compatible with terminal devices of 10Mbps, and 100Mbps.

Orion OUS-8EP-2G is usually used to provide power and data transmission for IP cameras.

OUS-8EP-2G adopts a plug-and-play design, which eliminates the need for software configuration, which greatly facilitates the installation and use of digital monitoring and wireless coverage. In particular, the switch provides a set of DIP switches for easy transition between shared or port isolation modes. In the port isolation mode, 1-8 ports cannot communicate with each other but transmit output data only through port 9-10. This mode can effectively suppress the generation of broadcast storms.
